S – Severs Relationships
If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother,
and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea,
and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. Luke 14:26
C – Carries His Cross
And whosoever doth not bear his cross,
and come after me, cannot be my disciple. – Luke 14:27
I – Increases in Fruit
Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit;
so shall ye be my disciples. – John 15:8
P – Preaches the Gospel
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world,
and preach the gospel to every creature. – Mark 16:15
L – Leaves All Possessions
So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh
not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple. – Luke 14:33
E – Endures Persecution
Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall
separate you from their company, and shall reproach you,
and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. – Luke 6:22
