God’s Law given to Moses               Lesson 6

The teachings we learn from the Bible can only be understood as we understand the God that authored it. Let us review some things we have learned about God:

God is All-Powerful – He created this world from nothing. By His spoken Word alone, He made life and everything visible and invisible!

God is Love – God is not just a force in outer space. He is a Triune being made up of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In this way, He manifests himself to man who has a body, soul, and spirit.

God is a holy Judge– Because of sin, everyone must die and be judged. The Giver of life holds all people accountable to Himself.God is Merciful – God desires to bring man back into fellowship with Himself. He made a covenant with Abraham to bless all the nations. Abraham believed God, and God counted it to him as righteousness.

Exodus 3:8 - And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
